Silver is a competitive program that begins in September and runs until June. Swimmers train 6 times per week and can attend approximately twelve meets per season. Assistant Coach Elaine Thompson implements the program and focuses on developing endurance, speed and technique. Swimmers are introduced to harder training sets in order to prepare them for competition, promote pushing beyond the comfort zone and recognize how dedication and commitment can enhance a swimmers’ performance. Swimmers participate in dryland training, goal setting and learning how to follow sets as written.
Swimmers must commit to a full swimming season.
Practice times: Mon 3:50-5:00 pm, Tues 5:50-7:30 am, Thurs 5:50-7:30 am & 3:50-5:00 pm, Fri 3:50-5:30 pm, Sat 6:20-8:00 am
