Further Details

Kittens – Non-Competitive

  • Three 10-Week Sessions (Fall, Winter & Spring)
  • Full Payment with E-Transfer – $489 annually for all three sessions (payment in full due by Sept registration) plus $100 Promissory cheque for tag day and Swim Ontario Fee.
  • Full Payment with Credit Card – $499 annually for all three sessions (payment in full due by Sept registration) plus $100 Promissory cheque for tag day and $54.05 Swim Ontario Fee.
  • 3 Payments by Credit Card – or you may pay in three (3) installments of $168.  First payment of $168 by Sept registration, second payment by Nov 15, 2023, for the winter session and March 15, 2024, for the spring session.
  • Swim Ontario Fee – This fee is payable by credit card separately.
  • Tag Day – Due with the first payment is a $100 promissory cheque (payable to Orillia Channel Cats) or cash in an envelope with the swimmer’s name clearly written on the envelope.
  • If your child chooses not to swim after the first session, notice must be given in writing to the Club at least 2 weeks prior to the next session.

Jr Novice

  • Three 10-Week Sessions (Fall, Winter & Spring)
  • Full Payment with E-Transfer – $921 annually for all three sessions (payment in full due by Sept registration) plus $100 Promissory cheque for tag day and Swim Ontario Fee.
  • Full Payment with Credit Card – $941 annually for all three sessions (payment in full due by Sept registration) plus $100 Promissory cheque for tag day and Swim Ontario Fee.
  • 3 Payments by Credit Card – or you may pay in three (3) installments of $315.  First payment of $315 by Sept registration, second payment by Nov 15, 2023, for the winter session and March 15, 2024, for the spring session

    • Competitive, full-year commitment

  • Monthly Payments by Credit Card – $290 monthly, for 10 months (September to June), plus Swim Ontario Fee (see chart below as it is based on age, not group level), $200 Tag day promissory cheque.

Swim Ontario Registration Fees as set by Swim Ontario

  • Channel Kittens: non-competitive fee: $54.05 per swimmer for the swim season
  • Junior Novice to Gold: (age as of December 31, 2023)
    • 8 and under – $123.90
    • 9 to 10 – $143.90
    • 11 to 14 – 163.90
    • 15 and over – $183.90

Payment Info

  • For families with 3 or more swimmers with the club, there is a 10% reduction for the Registration Fee for one swimmer in the highest-level group.
  • Swim Ontario Registration Fees are Non-Refundable.
  • A separate cheque or cash is required for Tag Days
    In an envelope with the swimmer’s first and last name, place a “promissory” cash cheque payable to “Orillia Channel Cats” (dated Oct 28th) is required that will be returned once swimmers have completed their tagging shifts.
  • Registration Fees – may be paid in full at the time of registration or by a deposit at registration
    and installment payments. See attached fee schedule for details
    E-Transfer is only accepted if all fees are paid in full at registration
  • There is a $25.00 administration fee for all NSF cheques.
  • Late payments or non-payments may prevent your child from participating in the club. If you should require an alternative payment schedule that works better for you, please email us, and we can look to see how we can help.
  • There are several Sport Funding programs that assist families in removing some of the financial barriers that prevent their children from participating in sports. Please ask us for information, and we can help by providing information on the ones that we’re aware of and have dealt with before.
