DESCRIPTION:End of the season meet for swimmers in Jr Novice and above. \nDate: June 21-22 \nLocation: Collingwood Centennial Aquatic Centre\nSwimmers can enter max 6 events and two relays \n\nMorning warm up sessions will be divided to accommodate swimmer numbers. Clubs will be contacted prior to the event to confirm assignments. There will be a short split warm-up session prior to the afternoon session.\nPlease note: USE OF BARBEQUES IS PROHIBITED. Food and beverages will be available on site at a reasonable cost. Swimmers are prohibited from eating on the pool deck.\nAll swimmers\, coaches\, volunteers\, spectators attending this unique indoor/outdoor event have a duty to demonstrate maturity and to conduct themselves in a positive and respectable manner. Please be aware that the entire venue on and off the pool deck is subject to a no smoking/vaping policy and consumption of alcoholic beverages or use of recreational drugs is not permitted. Consequences for inappropriate conduct may include the request to leave the premises\, removal of an athlete from the competition or involvement with municipal law enforcement agencies.\nTHE SKATE PARK ADJACENT TO THE POOL IS ONLY TO BE USED AS INTENDED. LOUNGING OR LOITERING IN THE SKATE PARK IS NOT PERMITTED.\nWhat to bring: Our pool is enclosed and climate controlled\, but much will be happening outside on the surrounding grounds. Be prepared for the elements!! Bring hats\, sunscreen\, blankets\, tents\, etc. We recommend each team bring an open-sided canopy/tent for their team (protection from the sun and/or rain).\nSpecial events: There will be special events during the lunch hour on both Saturday and Sunday. Absolutely no food OR CELL PHONES allowed on deck and no phones in changerooms. Swimmers will be scratched from first event if more than 15 minutes late for warm ups. Bring lots of team spirit! We plan to have a lot of fun and cheering from everyone.   Swimmers are encouraged to enter all 5 events in a given session as scoring will be based on cumulative time across all five events. Swimmers who are not entered in all five events per session will receive official results\, but they will not be eligible for Pentathlon awards. \n*We will only enter our swimmers in events we know they are ready to compete in. The meet fee is the same regardless of number of events a swimmer is entered in.              \nOrder of Events: \n    \nAwards will be given to the top 10 male and female swimmers with the lowest aggregate times\nwithin each age group for the three Pentathlon categories: Sprint\, Mid Distance and Ironman.\nWithin each age group\, aggregate times will be determined by adding the times of each of the\nfive events. Swimmers must participate in all 5 events in a session\, with the exception of the\nIronman which will be swum over sessions 1 and 4. DESCRIPTION:  \nIt’s time to bring back our Little Ceasars Pizza Kit Fundraiser!🍕 Last year we sold 108 kits as a club and this year we have raised our goal to150 kits. Personally\, I REALLY enjoyed having the personal pizza’s on hand for busy nights. 🤩 Keep in mind\, for every kit sold\, $1.50 will be alloted to your family accounts. This is a great way to rais money for the club AND to raise money for your swimmers.\n\nI have attached 2 images to help you all promote sales on your social media or via e-mail. Collecting orders is very simple. Customers order individually by visiting PizzaKit.ca and using our Channel Cats ID# (453844) to order OR swimmers can compile their customer orders and submit them all together using the same method (PizzaKit.ca\, ID#453844).\n\nOrders are due on February 9th and delivery to swimmers/families will take place at the Orillia Rec Centre on the evening of Wednesday\, February 26th.\n\nHappy selling everyone. SUMMARY:Tag Day Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:TAG DAYS-October 25th & 26th   \nOur annual Tag Day fundraiser will take place on October 25th and 26th\, 2024. This is our only mandatory and most successful fundraiser. All funds raised are used to offset the club’s operation costs. This is also a great opportunity to raise awareness of our club in the community and a chance for swimmers to get to know each other better while they are at their locations. The tag day fees that were collected upon registration for the 2024/2025 swim season will be re-imbursed to the swimmers that participate following the Tag Day events. \n⭐Please note the following requirements for complete participation⭐ \nKittens & Junior Novice- One 2-hour timeslot \nSenior Novice\, Bronze\, Silver & Gold- Two 2-hour timeslots \nThank you to the many of you that have already secured your swimmers locations for our Tag Day Fundraiser. DESCRIPTION:Click here for meet notice: Collingwood June Invitational 2024 \nPlease refer to the meet notice for information on warm up times/special events/fees.     This meet is offered to Jr Novice and up.     Swimmers can enter in 6 events maximum.    Our club’s limit is 50 swimmers maximum. \n\nCollingwood meet management sent the following information to coaches: \n\n\n\n\nWe will have a food truck and ice-cream truck on site both days.\nWe will have a pop-up swim gear shop thanks to Clippers Sponsor and local triathlon store V02 (Premium Endurance Sports Shop – VO2 Sports Co)\nWe have NEW STARTING BLOCKS and BACKSTROKE LEDGES! Your swimmers will be pleased with the upgrades!\nThere will be a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Blocks with our Sponsors/Donors at 8:35am after the warm-up ends before Session 1. This will not take long\, it’s important that we publicly thank the folks who donated to our project.\nWe will be enforcing an “Athletes Only” area just outside the garage doors in the enclosed railed area. Parents/spectators will need to stay outside that enclosure.\n\n\n\nMeet forms and fees are due in the CATS office on or before Tuesday May 28.   The first 50 swimmers to return the form and fees will be able to participate.            If you do not submit a form (via email or CATS office) your swimmer will not be entered.
