SUMMARY:Mallards Long Course Invitational
DESCRIPTION:This is a team travel meet.       This meet will be offered to Sr Novice and above\, and there will be a limited number of swimmers that can attend- as there are only so many seats on a bus for swimmers\, coaches and chaperones. \n Swimmers must have attended a minimum of three competitions prior to the April meet in order to attend.       If we become oversubscribed\,  preference will be given to the swimmers who have been to the most meets and higher attendance percentage at practice.  \nMore information soon!

Please do not send swimmers\, they will not be permitted to scratch.\nScratching from Finals after the final scratch deadline\, or failure to participate in an individual final\, will result in a $50.00 fine for each offence – payable to Scarborough Swim Club. This fine applies to the originally named finalists and 2 alternates. Failure to pay (or agreement to pay) before the swimmer’s next event will exclude the swimmer from further participation in the meet.\n\nFormat: This is a double-ended CHASE meet. All odd-numbered heats will start from the NORTH end (by the dive tank)\, and all even-numbered heats and 50M EVENTS will start on the SOUTH end (by the change rooms).\n\nParking:  Please visit the TPASC website to review parking information: www.tpasc.ca/facility/location. DESCRIPTION:Long Course meet for swimmers who have made the regional standard. \n Brock University\, St Catherines June 5-8.     \n12&U all events will be Timed Finals.\n13&O Timed Final events: 400/800/1500FR\, 400IM\, 50FL\, 50BK\, 50BR & all relays. All other events will be swum prelims & finals. DESCRIPTION:End of the season meet for swimmers in Jr Novice and above. \nDate: June 21-22 \nLocation: Collingwood Centennial Aquatic Centre\nSwimmers can enter max 6 events and two relays \n\nMorning warm up sessions will be divided to accommodate swimmer numbers. Clubs will be contacted prior to the event to confirm assignments. There will be a short split warm-up session prior to the afternoon session.\nPlease note: USE OF BARBEQUES IS PROHIBITED. Food and beverages will be available on site at a reasonable cost. Swimmers are prohibited from eating on the pool deck.\nAll swimmers\, coaches\, volunteers\, spectators attending this unique indoor/outdoor event have a duty to demonstrate maturity and to conduct themselves in a positive and respectable manner. Please be aware that the entire venue on and off the pool deck is subject to a no smoking/vaping policy and consumption of alcoholic beverages or use of recreational drugs is not permitted. Consequences for inappropriate conduct may include the request to leave the premises\, removal of an athlete from the competition or involvement with municipal law enforcement agencies.\nTHE SKATE PARK ADJACENT TO THE POOL IS ONLY TO BE USED AS INTENDED. LOUNGING OR LOITERING IN THE SKATE PARK IS NOT PERMITTED.\nWhat to bring: Our pool is enclosed and climate controlled\, but much will be happening outside on the surrounding grounds. Be prepared for the elements!! Bring hats\, sunscreen\, blankets\, tents\, etc. We recommend each team bring an open-sided canopy/tent for their team (protection from the sun and/or rain).\nSpecial events: There will be special events during the lunch hour on both Saturday and Sunday.
