Nutritionist Cancelled April 26

Alisa Herriman has had to cancel the Nutrition speech for Tuesday April 26.

Special Meeting for the General Membership

As we start our last session of the year I would would like to Thank all of the Cats Sponsors, parents, swimmers and coaches for another great year.‎

 

One of the projects your board would like to discuss with you is the adoption of a new set of clear bylaws. We will be having a special meeting for the general membership on May 11 at the YMCA. Please review the proposed bylaws CATS BY-LAW UPDATE and forward any questions to a board member.  An email confirming the time will be sent out later this month.

 

The next project we will be undertaking is a strategic review of our club and planning for the future (with a new pool on the horizon). Stay tuned for more information on this planning initiative.

Pool Closed this Thursday pm

The Y has informed us they are finally replacing three lights on the pool deck.       The pool will be open for Silver Thursday morning (April 7) practice but will not be open for any of our afternoon or evening practices.     
It will be nice to have a brighter pool deck!
We should be good to go Friday am as usual for Gold.

NORTH COUNTRY MEAT SPRING FUNDRAISER!!

We have decided to team up once again with North Country Meats (formely MacGregors Meats) for a spring fundraiser. The fundraiser will run for the month of April and Orders are due no later than May 2, 2016. Orders and payment can be dropped off in the Cats Box at the YMCA Counter. Cash or cheque is accepted and please make cheques payable to Orillia Channel Cats. Order pick up will be Wednesday May 11th, 2016 at the upper parking lot of the Orillia YMCA at 6:45pm. Perfect time to get the BBQ up and running for May Long Weekend!

The order forms can be downloaded and printed off from here or there are a few already printed off by the cats board at the YMCA
