Info for Development Meet this Sunday

Hello all, just a reminder about a few items regarding the development meet this Sunday.

Location:   Bracebridge Sportsplex

                    110 Clearbrook Trail

                     Bracebridge ON

Warm up time: 8:00 am, meet starts at 9:00 am

PLEASE HAVE YOUR SWIMMERS THERE AT 7:45 INORDER TO LOOSEN UP WITH THE TEAM ON DECK AND FOR THE COACHES TO MEET WITH THE SWIMMERS BEFORE THEY GET IN THE POOL.

I have attached the team list, which outlines what events our swimmers are competing in.      We can not predict when your swimmers will race as it is based on number of people in each event.     Each event will be divided into heats-depending on the number of swimmers.

Jr Novice swimmers will have an X next to their entries….they have to be entered as exhibition as they are registered with Swim Can as non-competitive, but are allowed to compete in one meet per season.    Their times will count.

SWIMMERS ARE TO STAY UNTIL THE LAST CHANNEL CAT SWIMMER RACES IN ORDER TO SUPPORT HIS/HER TEAMMATES.   PLEASE ASSIST US IN ENCOURAGING A SUPPORTIVE TEAM ENVIRONMENT.     The meet will probably end by 12:00.     (estimated guess).

Swimmers need to wear their CATS team shirts when on deck between races as well as their CATS caps.       Make sure your swimmers have water, and some healthy snacks ie oranges, grapes, muffins, raisins, trailmix…..please don’t send chips, chocolate, candy of any kind.
